Podcast: The holidays of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova

This podcast presents the dates of a survey about the holidays of Moldovan citizens, made by CBS AXA, nationwide, at the request of the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) “Viitorul”, within the cross-border project “Development and promotion of green tourism in the Danube sector of the Black Sea basin (Cahul district, Republic of Moldova; Reni territorial community, Ukraine; and Galati county, Romania)”, BSB 817.

The economic expert of the project, Veaceslav Ioniță, talks about how many Moldovans have never gone to rest, how many go annually, two or three times a year. Also, we find out how many of the rest trips of Moldovans are made abroad, which is their preferred country of destination, and who are the ones who travel most often. At the same time, we find out how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the tourism sector, and how many Moldovans managed to rest during the pandemic.

The language in which the expert speaks is Romanian.
