Podcast BSB 817: The recovery of tourism after the pandemic is due to domestic tourism and guesthouses

The business development expert of the BSB-817 project, Veaceslav Ioniță, talks in this podcast about the fact that tourism in the Republic of Moldova is increasingly recovering from the pandemic and that the evolution is due exclusively to domestic tourism and guesthouses. According to Veaceslav Ioniță, officially, in 2022, the Republic of Moldova registered over 424 thousand tourists, of which almost 103 thousand promoted domestic tourism, 50% more than the record set in 2020. The expert also mentioned that in 2004, there were 88 boarding houses in the Republic of Moldova, in 2022 there would be 1280. A 15-fold increase in 17 years.
